CREtech New York and Climate Day Draws Record Attendance, Spotlighting Real Estate Innovation and Sustainability

CREtech, the leading global community dedicated to technological and sustainable innovation in the real estate sector, successfully hosted their annual flagship event, CREtech New York, and introduced the new Climate Day event. The three-day extravaganza, held from September 19th to 21st, saw an impressive turnout of nearly 3,500 real estate and technology professionals, marking it as the world’s premier gathering for real estate innovation and sustainability.

This year’s conference took center stage at the prestigious Javits Center, boasting an expansive 90,000 square feet of event space in the heart of Manhattan. The event featured five stages delivering world-class content, distinguished C-suite speakers, and an expo hall brimming with cutting-edge technology solutions. Attendees took full advantage of CREtech’s exclusive matchmaking app, facilitating almost 5,000 one-on-one meetings hosted in their renowned Tech Connect Lounge.

In addition to the core CREtech New York program, the organization collaborated with the Nest Climate Campus at the Javits Center during Climate Week NYC to introduce the inaugural CREtech Climate Day on September 21. CREtech Climate Day brought together over 500 leaders from government, venture capital, real estate, technology, and academia. Content sessions featured influential figures and decision-makers from government, policy, real estate, venture capital, and tech, sharing best practices and insights.

Lindsey Imperatore, President of CREtech, expressed her enthusiasm about the event’s overwhelming success: “Our 2023 flagship New York City conference was one for the record books. Our record attendance of real estate companies, including landlords, developers, occupiers, and other decision-makers, reflects the increasing demand for technology in the real estate industry today.”

Notable speakers graced the stages at CREtech New York, including Scott Rechler (Chairman & CEO of RXR), Benjamin Schall (CEO and President of AvalonBay Communities), Andrew Mathias (President, SL Green Realty Corp), MaryAnne Gilmartin (Founder and CEO, MAG Partners), Joanna Zabriskie (President & CEO of BH), and Jonathan Rose (President of Jonathan Rose Companies).

CREtech Climate Day featured luminaries from academia, government, venture capital, real estate, and technology. Legendary venture investor Chris Sacca of Lowercarbon Capital, Parag Khanna (CEO of Climate Alpha), Joseph Allen, and countless other industry leaders enriched the discussions.

CREtech continues to redefine the real estate landscape through technology and sustainability, fostering innovation and adoption in the built world. With their New York and London conferences, CREtech remains at the forefront of driving technological advancements in the real estate sector, signaling a brighter and more sustainable future for the industry.
