Nester Rental Property Management Software Secures €1.2 Million in Funding to Expand Services
Barcelona, Spain-based proptech Nester, specializing in rental property management, has successfully concluded a seed financing round, raising a substantial €1.2 million. The investment was led by Successful SPV and Zone2Boost, a collaboration involving Caixabank, Global Payments, and Ingenico. Renowned business figures like Albert Armengol (Doctoralia) and Pere Vallés, CEO of Exoticca, also participated in the funding.
The latest financial injection is poised to propel Nester’s growth trajectory and elevate its product offering. The company intends to enhance its platform’s functionalities while continuing its national expansion in the competitive proptech landscape.
Ot Vila, Partner at Successful Ventures, emphasizes the increasing demand for technology in the rapidly growing professionally managed rental industry. Nester, having managed 100 properties within six months in 2022, earned a coveted spot in the Amazon Web Service (AWS) accelerator. Presently, the company oversees 20,000 assets for 250 companies, including the Badi Homes rental platform and Spain Student Housing.
Nester’s comprehensive software, spearheaded by Kàstor del Olmo and Àlex Purull, serves as an all-in-one solution for property management. The platform facilitates automated daily operations, covering contract control, invoices, settlements, tenant communication, digital rent collection, and incident management. With this funding, Nester aims to solidify its position as a key player in the proptech industry, meeting the evolving needs of real estate management professionals and rental property operators.
